How much does a mobile mechanic cost?
- It depends on the job, the parts, and how long we are on site. We give you a number after we inspect the car, so the quote reflects the actual work. Share the vehicle, the symptom, and where we can meet and we will get you an estimate.
Which areas does Road Wrencher service?
- Atlanta, Smyrna, Vinings, Cumberland, Brookhaven, Druid Hills, and Decatur, plus Ellenwood and Stone Mountain. If you are near the edge of that area, send your ZIP and we will confirm whether we can reach you.
Is a mobile mechanic as thorough as a shop?
- For the jobs we book, yes. We bring the tools the work requires and you can watch the inspection. A driveway does have limits, so when a repair needs a lift or a specialty tool we do not carry, we tell you up front and point you toward the right shop.
What do you bring to a visit?
- Scan tools, common hand tools, fluids, and the parts for the booked job. Specialty parts are ordered once the diagnosis is confirmed, so the parts you buy are the ones the car needs.
How do I book?
- Send the form with your name, phone, the job, the vehicle, and where to meet. We follow up to confirm time, place, and scope before we load the van. You can also call or email.
Do you work evenings or weekends?
- Yes. We are available 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, every day of the week. Tell us your preferred window in the notes field.
What makes and models do you work on?
- Most gasoline cars and light trucks from common domestic, Asian, and European brands. Some hybrid or heavily modified vehicles need extra time, so include the year, make, and model on the form.
Do I need a garage?
- No. A reasonably level driveway, street parking, or workplace lot is enough as long as we can lift or access the vehicle legally and safely.
How long does a typical visit take?
- Oil changes often take 30–45 minutes. Diagnostics and inspections vary. Brake, belt, tire, and AC jobs depend on parts and access. We give a time range when we confirm.
Can you come to my workplace?
- Yes, when the property allows a service vehicle and we have a safe place to work. Include the building or lot details in the form notes.
How do I pay?
- Payment options are confirmed when we schedule. Expect to settle after the approved work is finished unless parts must be prepaid.
